Orlando Original Character Club - or O2C2 for short - is a collective of artists, writers, and creators of all type to gather and celebrate their original works! This club is free and open to anybody with original characters (OCs) near the Orlando, Florida area. We meet once a month at Lucky Straws Boba Tea Cafe in Winter Garden, FL.
This event requires RSVP to attend! This is to comply with the building's capacity. Attending without a prior RSVP may result in expulsion from the event.
Our next meeting is November 18th, 6:00 - 10:00 P.M.! RSVP is not live at this time, but will always be posted in our Discord 24 hours before being posted publicly.

Q: What do you do at O2C2?
A: O2C2 is intended to be a casual environment where you can meet friends and chat about OCs, but that being said, we always have optional scheduled activities! "Target Bombing" is our most popular and most consistent, its roots coming from our origins as an Art Fight meetup; one OC is randomly selected every hour as the "target," and the rest of the club "bombs" them with tons of art! We also allot times for presentations, which can be of just about any topic, as long as it's related to your OC(s). We think of special themes for every month, so you never know what activities could appear at the next one!
Q: What are the rules for participating in O2C2?
A: O2C2 is a 13+ environment, meaning younger artists are welcome to join, and mature artists are expected to keep their art, conversations, presentations, and conduct PG-13. We do not tolerate any hate or discrimination against marginalized groups, nor will we tolerate targeted harassment against any one individual within our club. It is also heavily encouraged that members are a local to the Central Florida area, or at least visit it frequently enough to participate in club activities. Drawing is not a requirement to join, as we welcome all creative mediums!
Q: What can I bring to O2C2?
A: We encourage sharing art supplies, so if you have any to spare, please bring them along! You are also welcome to bring supplies for personal use, but any potentially messy or damaging materials (paint, blades, hot glue, etc.) must be brought with some form of table protection. Toxic materials like uncured resin, spray paint, contact cement, etc. are disallowed. You are also welcome to bring any project - W.I.P. or not - that you are excited about and wish to show off! Whether this is a custom plushie, an animatic, a cosplay or fursuit, or anything within reason, we'd love to see it!
Q: I missed RSVPs/can't make the next meeting. Can I still participate?
A: Absolutely! Our Discord is always open to local OC artists that want to make friends and share their work. Additionally, RSVP slots tend to open in the 1-2 days before the event; if you want to try to snag one, keeping an eye on the Discord is the best way to go.
Q: Is O2C2 free?
A: Yes, O2C2 is 100% free! Some themes/activities may ask that attendees volunteer to bring or purchase supplies, but this is never expected as a requirement.
Q: Is O2C2 affiliated with Goblin Market?
A: No, despite significant overlap in our organizers and attendees between the two events, O2C2 has no official affiliation with Goblin Market. Any questions regarding GobMart should be directed to the proper channels.
